See that cutie to the left? Meet Nayane. Pray as she continues to transition. She is adjusting well, and a joy to us all.
Meet Ana Vitoria. It is clear she has special needs. Pray for her as we seek evaluation and diagnosis in order to better raise this precious child. Her disposition is wonderful!
Meet Jose Jefferson. I had to meet with the boys' homes to discuss behavior. Talk about a comedian! Jose Jeferson had me doubled over in laughter before all was said and done! Pray for his continued growth and his increasing interest in the Bible stories we share.
Meet Thalia. Thalia is 13. Pray for her to overcome past trauma. Pray for her to accept wisdom from others. Pray for her to rest in the Lord and take what is good.
Children who have left.
Jemi Hendrix and Mateus have been reunited with their mother after much work by social services to prepare their home. Pray for their mom's continued recovery and the adjustment to having children again.
Vinicius and Vitor have been moved to another facility with higher walls. It was with much prayer and great sorrow we decided we could no longer care for these two boys. Pray their grandmother steps up and takes them.

 Robson's scheduled leg-staightening surgery was cancelled due to a cold. Pray for the rescheduling! Robson and Marcio,
Mark's strategy meeting September 7 with administration.
Paige's meeting with University Professor and Lar Supporter, Jo, to talk about budding Lar artists Josenildo and Amanda.
Board meeting September 18th.
Mark Andersonand Mark Wellman brainstorming about Eusebio church start/Bible studies in conjunction with Igreja Batista Alvorada and Pastor Airton.
Budgets and funding.
Thank you, Lord, for your continued faithfulness! May your provisions rain down upon the Lar, our Jehovah-Jireh.

Ephesians 5: 8 "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light."
Pastor Marcos was timely this Sunday! May we walk in the light regarding our reactions to all in our lives and at the Lar, the adversities and the victories, the sorrows and the joys. May you do the same as Christ shines through all.
